Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of minibite.ai and any related services provided by Minibite AI ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By accessing minibite.ai, you agree to abide by these Terms of Service and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

If you do not agree with these Terms of Service, you are prohibited from using or accessing minibite.ai. We reserve the right to review and amend any of these Terms at our sole discretion.

Account Terms

By creating an account on minibite.ai, you agree to:

  • Maintain the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.
  • Not use the Service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws in your jurisdiction.
  • Not create accounts by automated means or under false pretenses.
  • Immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account.

Subscription Terms

  • Plans and pricing. We offer a Free tier and paid tiers (Starter and Growth). Current pricing is on our pricing page.
  • Payment processor. Payments are processed by Polar.sh. By subscribing, you also agree to Polar's terms of service.
  • Auto-renewal. Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period using the payment method on file, until canceled.
  • Cancellation. You can cancel any time from Settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period. After that, your account downgrades to the Free tier.
  • Refunds. We do not offer refunds for partial or unused billing periods. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we'll review on a case-by-case basis.
  • Credits. Each paid plan includes a fixed number of slideshow generations per billing period. Unused plan credits do not roll over. Bonus credits earned through our Rewards program do not expire.
  • Content ownership. Slideshows and other content you generate using the Service belong to you.
  • Price changes. We may change pricing with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers will see changes take effect at their next renewal.

Content and Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload or distribute any content that infringes on any intellectual property or other proprietary rights.
  • Upload or distribute content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, or otherwise objectionable.
  • Jeopardize the security of your account or anyone else's.
  • Attempt to obtain the password, account, or other security information from other users.
  • Violate the security of any computer network, or crack any passwords or security encryption codes.
  • Use manual or automated means to "crawl," "scrape," or "spider" any page, data, or portion of the Services.
  • Decompile, reverse engineer, or otherwise attempt to obtain the source code of the Services.

AI-Generated Content

Minibite.ai uses artificial intelligence to generate slideshow images, captions, and other materials. You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated content may require review and editing before use.
  • You are responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with applicable laws and platform guidelines.
  • We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose.
  • Content generated using our Service should be reviewed for factual accuracy before publication.

Rewards Program and Testimonials

You can earn bonus credits by submitting testimonials, tweets, or other content through the Rewards section of your dashboard. Submissions are reviewed manually and approved at our discretion.

By submitting a testimonial, quote, rating, or link through the Rewards program, you grant Minibite AI a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, adapt, and use the content you submit — including your name, role, testimonial text, rating, and profile link — in our marketing materials, including on minibite.ai and in paid advertising. You warrant that the content is your own and accurate to the best of your knowledge. You may request removal from marketing use at any time by emailing us.

Intellectual Property

The look and feel of the Service is copyright Minibite AI. All rights reserved. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or visual design elements without express written permission.

Content you create using our Service belongs to you. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service.

Third-Party Services

Our Service integrates with third-party platforms including TikTok and other social media services. By using these integrations, you agree to comply with the terms of service and community guidelines of those platforms.

Limitation of Liability

The Company shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, goodwill, use, data, or other intangible losses resulting from the use or inability to use the service.

Content Liability

We shall not be held responsible for any content that appears in slideshows, posts, or other materials created using minibite.ai. You agree to protect and defend us against all claims that relate to the content you create or publish.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our website will be regarded as acceptance of our updated terms.
